Membership
How to become a member
Any person who agrees to comply with our statutes may become a member of ASTO-VMDC. Membership is individual — not per family, not joint.
Application steps
- 1
Complete a membership application and send it to the Executive Board on your second participation in the quarterly meeting.

Pay the non-refundable membership fee of $500 to the Executive Board on that same second participation.
- 3
Attach two passport photos — one for your membership card and one for the association's archives.

Before claiming benefits
Contributions
- • Dues are compulsory for active members.
- • Ordinary monthly dues: $10.00 per member.
- • Must be paid before the 10th of each month.
- • Special / extraordinary contributions may be requested.
- • Honorary and sympathizing members are exempt.
Meetings
- • Quarterly meetings — once every 3 months, max 3 hours.
- • Extraordinary meetings — convened as necessary.
- • General Assembly — once a year, set by the Executive Board.
Probation period
A newly admitted member can claim benefits only after a one-year probationary period, during which they must be regular at meetings and in all contributions.
Re-admission
A member who resigned may rejoin. A new membership procedure is mandatory:
- • Send a letter to the Executive Board for review.
- • Complete a new membership form, pay fees and any arrears.
- • Undergo a normal one-year probationary period.
- • Not eligible for the Executive Board for two years.
